2 years after he awoke after 30 years in suspended animation and he defeated his nemesis Dr. Evil from detonating a nuclear bomb in the core of the planet, sex-obsessed 60's British secret agent Austin Powers, still on his honeymoon, learns his wife Vanessa is a fem-bot, created by Dr. Evil to assassinate him. But for Austin it is about to get a lot worse when Dr. Evil travels back through time to the year 1969 and he steals Austin's Mojo (Austin's body-fluid that makes him attractive to the opposite sex) leaving Austin shagless. Travelling back into 1969, Austin teams up with sexy CIA agent Felicity Shagwell as both Austin and Felicity must not only recover Austin's mojo, they must also stop Dr. Evil from wiping out Washington D.C. with a laser gun Dr. Evil has constructed on the moon. Can Austin defeat Dr. Evil again?
Dr. Evil is back and has invented a new time machine that allows him to go back to the 1960s and steal Austin Powers' mojo, inadvertently leaving him "shagless."
Like Fu Manchu back in the day, Dr. Evil is defeated, but not destroyed in the first Austin Powers film. He&#39;s back and he&#39;s got a plan to make things right. The way to do it is to defeat Austin Powers and the way to do that is to steal his Mojo. I mean what would James Bond be without his Mojo. A whole slew on Bond girls would go UnBondified.<br/><br/>The operation is successful and the Powers Mojo is now in the hands of Dr. Evil. In the first film, Dr. Evil begat a son Scott Evil by artificial insemination, but now with the Powers Mojo he sees some hidden charms (well hidden) in Frau Farbissina (Mindy Sterling). He even gets cloned and from that procedure, we get Mini-Me (Verne Troyer). <br/><br/>Of course filling the world with Evil is only part of the plan, he still has it mind to get some big bucks from the USA for not blowing up Washington, DC with a space laser.<br/><br/>So Mike Myers as Powers has to both get his Mojo back from Powers as Dr. Evil and foil the Evil plans. As his Shagadelic sidekick he has Heather Graham as Felicity Shagwell from the American CIA. Without his Mojo, Powers is lost when dealing with her obvious charms.<br/><br/>As for Graham she in the line of duty has to do some mercy Shagging on another of Mike Myers&#39;s comic creation, Fat Bastard the Scot&#39;s guardsman who&#39;s a double agent. I have to say I really enjoyed what Myers did with this character although the film does get a bit gross when dealing with this guy. <br/><br/>However it was the makeup job on Myers for Fat Bastard that got Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me an Oscar nomination in that department.<br/><br/>If possible the humor gets a little more low brow than the first film was, but still plenty funny.
I love this movie!! It very, VERY funny! All the character are cool(and funny!) Exspecially dr. Evil and Mini Me!! I think its one of the best comedies I&#39;ve ever seen. The only thing I dislike about it is: Whats &quot;Mojo?&quot; I give it 9 out of 10 stars.
The repulsive turn of events erased all my good memories of the first half, and makes the movie hard to recommend to a normal human being.
According to an alternate ending to the first movie, it is said that Number Two survived falling in the fire, but was &quot;very badly burned&quot;. Hence the scar on his face. It appears so, Vanessa is revealed to be a fembot in the opening scenes. What&#39;s more Basil Exposition explains that she was actually a fembot all along so Austin never even met the real Vanessa. However this presents the difficulty that we see Vanessa chatting to her &#39;mother&#39; Mrs Kensington, Austin&#39;s old friend and crime-fighting partner, on the phone?
